A successful wrap-up
The last day of the sessions started once again with the writing of the possible Outcome document. Then the delegates had a few moderated caucuses about amendments. They were discussing wheter to include a clause in the document which will deal with new possible headquarters of NATO. After a while, they got an approval from the Secretary-General for the final document and they voted upon it. The media team got the exclusive information that the document was successfully adopted by the Council which proves the quality of the work they did and their strong commitment and willingness.
In the meantime delegates in the UN Security Council managed to adopt a resolution of their own which is also a sign of great teamwork and dedication from the delegates.
With this Salient2019 conference is successfully behind us and we`re already looking forward to great debates that will surely be in order at Salient2020.
