BREAKING: List of demands by Ula's captors uncovered
"“We have your attention now, so this is what we want to be heard:
Libya was once a great and prosperous country, respected and well liked in the world. Nowhere else in the Arabic world have people lived better. It was safe, stable, and prosperous county.
Then the UN intervened, and destroyed our way of life, our stability, our future. Proud people of Libya were left without their homes, without their dignity, without anything to live for.
The thirst for our oil was the only reason why the world cared, and why it destroyed our way of life. The country is now unstable, weakened, and deeply divided. Strong leaders are not recognised, while the weak leaders are supported, yet they cannot ensure security not even to their own citizens.
For far too long we have been a playing board or great powers and their petty politics.
We demand that the occupation of our lands ends.
We demand the UN and imperialists leave us alone.
We demand that Libya is left to be led by a strong leader, and not the puppet of the West. We will not be told which government is legitimate by foreigners.
We demand our national assets are unfrozen, and sanctions lifted. The arms embargo shall be lifted.
We demand control of our oil fields, which are the source of our nation’s wealth.
We demand paying back all the damage that has been inflicted to Libya.
And we demand an apology from all that have wronged us, and exploited us.
Our patience is running thin, and our will is stronger than ever.
Ula Wallström will pay for your crimes, if our demands are not met. You have one hour to acknowledge us and our demands, or at sundown tomorrow Ula will be dead - and that will be a mercy for her.
Her life, and her suffering are in your hands.”
